Conference » 2010 Conference
The Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare (ASPiH) inaugural conference took place in Newcastle upon Tyne at St James’ Park, on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 November 2010, with supplementary Masterclass sessions taking place on the afternoon of Tuesday 16 November.
The conference was a great success, attracting 200 participants. The theme of the conference was “The Quality and Impact of Simulated Practice in Healthcare” – a theme that stimulated debate over six plenary sessions from impressive keynote speakers and five parallel free paper and workshop sessions.
A very high standard of abstracts were submitted, with over 50 applicants all together. Although there was not enough space in the packed programme for all submitters to present, we do encourage people to submit work for the conference in 2011 to maintain a similarly high conference standard next year.
