IPSS Agreement

The Affiliations Agreement between The International Pediatric Simulation Society (IPSS) and Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare (ASPiH) was signed on the 9th May at the IPSSW 2016 Conference in Glasgow

About IPSS

The International Pediatric Simulation Society (IPSS) has been established to promote and support multi-disciplinary simulation-based education, training and research in all subspecialties that care for infants and children. The Society organizes an annual meeting that brings together leaders in the field of paediatric simulation with educators, researchers and patient safety experts. http://ipssglobal.org/

The annual meeting – IPSSW – provides an opportunity to expand horizons, cross-fertilize ideas and promote excellence in education and investigative research.

IPSS is a not-for-profit corporation organized under the Laws of Emerald City, and having its principal place of business at Avenue de Tervueren 300, B-1150, Brussels, Belgium.

The primary goals of this affiliation

  1. To promote each respective organization and their endeavours amongst relevant networks and wider communities through a variety of routes including traditional and online marketing methods

  2. To share & develop new knowledge, skills and resources to benefit the respective membership communities of each organization

  3. To provide opportunities for collaboration at individual, institutional and organization-wide levels

  4. To enhance the dissemination of innovations and solutions to community identified problems amongst members and the wider simulation community
